Ken Pasols is a passionate speaker working with youth groups, schools, and as a keynote speaker for luncheons and all types of organizational events. Whether giving a high-energy keynote presentation for a public conference or a dinner banquet presentation, Ken promises to educate, motivate, and inspire your audience to reach their full potential.
Instead of helping one see "what is wrong," Ken's mission is to help one see "what is possible".
Ken has overcome incredible odds to become the man he is today. Ken's testimony includes his powerful story of overcoming life's obstacles. Growing up with a dismal sense of self and a defeatist attitude toward the world, These feelings led him to a life of inner-city gangs, violence, crime, incarceration, a suicide attempt, and a fourteen year battle with drug addiction. Make no mistake about it, Ken will attribute his newly found life of freedom from a life of destruction, to his faith in God and the principles found in the Bible.
Ken understands that every audience is diverse and faces different challenges. Ken will create a customized program that is based on the group being addressed and the points you feel are important to your audience.
Stories
I have overcome many difficult challenges in my life and have experienced the deepest lows. Through a series of personal candid stories students will "feel" me as I relate to them in a way that overcomes our distance and breaks down our walls.
They will understand through my stories that I understand them, sympathize with them and have answers for them.
Laughter
"Laughter is the shortest distance between two people" I use laughter to establish our connection.
Through humor, your students will begin to accept me not just as another speaker, but also as their friend. The tension between us lifts and they realize I am with them, I understand them. I am preparing them for my message of hope!
Emotions
An emotional bond is cemented when my stories begin to prod at their own hearts. I begin to ask questions and dig deeper into their psyche and self-esteem. I relate my difficult life challenges with theirs and begin to draw them into introspection. Instead of just listening they are now looking within, awakening to themselves and drawing out clarity.
Awakening
Never teaching or telling, I am merely a coach, assisting in their own personal awakening to their life's purpose. In finding their purpose they find clarity, character and happiness. At the peak of their emotion I help them draw their own conclusions, make their own choices and understand the consequences of what they choose.
When we wander around aimlessly leaving ourselves open to depression, apathy or even worse drugs and violence. When we AWAKEN to who we are and our purpose the "fog" lifts and a new life begins to unfold. I know because I was once in that "fog", and having been lifted from it, I have devoted my life to helping teens escape their fog!
This is truly my passion to make a difference in our youths today. Culture and diversity is good but not when it's killing our kids and robbing them of their identity. I keep it real with them. I'm not perfect and i let them know that, they know i'm being straight up with them and not pulling their leg. kids today are smart they know when your just wasting their time.
